Hotel – Residence Baiaverde is situated in the wonderful territory of Anglona and is facing the Gulf of Asinara.

Here colours and nature are variegated and with thousands of shades, always rich and enchanting and uncontaminated.

The charm of the coasts mix perfectly with the territory, full of small hills and luxuriant vegetation that includes most important Sardinia species.

Suggestive landscapes, changing visions, mountain reliefs and deep valleys, wild settings and sweet planes, areas with bay rivers and lakes, long coasts and wide beaches.

The Anglona land is rich in history, culture and traditions which go back to ancient times. In Martis in fact, there is the “Carrucana” (petrified forest), of Miocenic era (about 15 millions years).

Several Domus de Janas belong to recent Neolitic, for example the “Elephant Domus” in Castelsardo and the “Domus di Sa Rocca” in Sedini.

Of course there are traces of Nuraghi culture: the Holy Well of Predio Canopoli and the Sacer Font of Niedda in Perfugas, the Nuraghe di l’Eni in Castelsardo and the Nuraghe di Ispine at Erula.

During Roman domination life was frenetic and rich with contacts, as testified by several traces which are perfectly visible in Juliola (Viddalba), Populum (Castelsardo) and Ericium (Perfugas) among others.

Very significant are the Romanic Churches built by Benedettini and Camaldolesi monks: Santa Maria di Tergu, Orria Pitzinna in Chiaramonti, San Pietro delle Immagini in Bulzi and San Giorgio in Perfugas.

Not far from Baiaverde our guests can visit these important centres and coasts: Alghero, Stintino, the Costa Paradiso and the Costa Smeralda, Isola Rossa.
